About the studio

A home ground built for competitors, not spectators.

Founded in 2018 above a former print house on Mary Street, MetaCyberForge grew from a 16-seat LAN room into one of the busiest competitive venues in New South Wales. We hire ex-pros, analysts and broadcast crew so every player gets tier-one preparation. Our doors are open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 11pm, with late booking bays for tournament nights.

How it works

Four steps from queue to podium.

  1. 01

    Create your player profile

Link your game accounts and complete a 20-minute placement session. We calibrate your rank across the 12 titles we support so you land in fair matches from day one.

  2. 02

    Join a ladder or squad

Pick solo ranked, a five-stack or a coached development team. Weekly scrims run Tuesday and Thursday nights, with open ladders live around the clock.

  3. 03

    Train with the bench

Book VOD reviews from AUD $45 per session, or a monthly Academy pass at AUD $180 that bundles coaching, scrim blocks and performance testing.

  4. 04

    Compete for the prize pool

Qualify through the online circuit, then play the LAN finals on our Mary Street main stage in front of a live crowd for a share of the AUD $85,000 seasonal pool.

The placement session actually put me in matches I could learn from. Six weeks of VOD reviews took me from Silver to Diamond on the tactical FPS ladder.

Our team booked the scrim room every Thursday. Marcus reworked our draft priorities and we finally beat the roster that had knocked us out three times.

Priya’s recovery block was the missing piece. My aim held up in the fifth map for the first time and we won the LAN final on stage.

Good to know

Questions before you queue.

No. Every competitor bay has a calibrated 240Hz monitor, mechanical keyboard and pro headset included with your booking. You are welcome to bring your own mouse and keycaps, and we provide sanitising stations between sessions.

We run ladders across 12 titles spanning tactical FPS, MOBA, fighting and battle-royale formats. The active seasonal roster is confirmed at the start of each season, and placement calibrates your rank in every title you play.

One-off VOD reviews start at AUD $45 per session. The monthly Academy pass is AUD $180 and bundles coaching hours, Tuesday and Thursday scrim blocks, and quarterly performance testing. Casual ladder play is free once you hold a player profile.

We are at 65 Mary Street in Surry Hills, a short walk from Central Station. The arena is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 11pm, with extended hours on LAN final nights. We are closed on Sundays for maintenance and stream production.

Beginners are welcome. Around half of our members start below the ranked average. Development teams and open ladders are designed so newer players learn in fair matches while the Academy pass fast-tracks anyone chasing the circuit.
